I do love the odor control and the flushability of the litter. It is a bit difficult to sift with my scoop. But that could be due to the fact that my lovely kitten has decided to sit on my back and peer over my shoulder while I am cleaning the box.

Pros: no dust or smell (I clean the litter box multiple times a day because my cat is particular)
Cons: cost/amount, still gets tracked around the bathroom but not as much as other litters throughout the house.
I’m not sure if I’ll continue buying it due to the price & my cat doesn’t seem that happy with it, although I’m not sure if she’d be happy with any litter (side eye picture included here).

We have an 18 yr old long- haired male kitty, Mich, who is in kidney failure. He is in and out of the litter box many times a day and would get clumping litter caked onto his paws. To top it off, he is not a fan of grooming, so cleaning his paws (among other places) was not high on his list of things he wanted to do.

How long does one bag last?
Generally, one bag will last for one month with one cat. Keep in mind other factors may influence your usage such as the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often your cat(s) use it.
What are the ingredients?
In true tuft + paw fashion, we put your cat first. Our formula is simple with five safe ingredients: Soybean Fiber, Corn Starch, Corn Flour, Guar Gum, Charcoal.
If it clumps, then how is it also flushable?
A small amount of liquid will cause it to harden slightly, but submerged in water it completely breaks down
Is it septic safe?
We have lots of septic customers, it works fine so long as you flush in small amounts at a time, it completely breaks down in water.
My plumber said never to flush anything
It disintegrates completely in water so it's fine unlike other "flushable" products that are just marketed like that.
I thought that you weren’t supposed to flush cat waste because of Toxoplasmosis?

Does this work with self-cleaning litter boxes?
Unfortunately the pellets don't work with most auto litter boxes

Does Really Great Cat Litter expire?
When unopened, Really Great Litter lasts 24 months from its production date, as indicated on the bag. Once opened, the bag should be used as soon as possible to benefit from peak performance. Store sealed in a dry, cool, and ventilated space.
