Ecommerce Director (Remote - anywhere in Canada):

tuft + paw is searching for a highly motivated and senior Ecommerce Director with a strong technical background and extensive experience working with Shopify. As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our direct-to-consumer brand to new heights. If you have a proven track record of successfully driving ecommerce growth, resolving complex website technical issues, and possess the necessary technical expertise, we invite you to join us and make a significant impact on our brand's success. 

The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience managing ecommerce stores and websites, with a strong technical background, a deep understanding of ecommerce marketing, and a love for numbers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the ecommerce website, ensuring products are accurately displayed, prices are updated, and the user experience is seamless.
  • Take full ownership of our ecommerce website, leveraging your technical expertise to ensure its smooth operation and optimal functionality.
  • Utilize your technical prowess to identify and resolve advanced website issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maximizing user experience.
  • Implement and manage integrations with third-party apps and tools to streamline processes and enhance website performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and execute high-impact email and SMS campaigns, leveraging your technical knowledge for analytics and campaign optimization.
  • Drive data-driven decisions by analyzing website analytics, customer behavior, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve the overall ecommerce experience.
  • Oversee A/B testing initiatives for critical website elements, using your technical proficiency to ensure seamless execution and accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with external ecommerce development agencies and contractors, providing clear technical guidance and project management for successful outcomes.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for site speed and SEO visibility, leveraging your technical expertise to adhere to best practices and boost organic traffic.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to app integrations, website bugs, and customer subscription problems in a timely and efficient manner.

YouTube Channel Manager and Growth Strategist (Remote - anywhere in Canada):

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled YouTube Channel Manager and Growth Strategist to join our talented team. We are looking for an absolute expert in YouTube who can help manage and grow our entire YouTube account.

If you are a YouTube expert with a passion for the pet niche and are confident in your ability to manage and grow our YouTube channel, we encourage you to apply.   • Collaborate with our existing brand director, video editor, and writer to align the YouTube channel with our overall branding and content strategy.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and a track record of successfully managing and growing YouTube channels.
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube algorithm and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the pet niche, particularly cats, and an understanding of the preferences and interests of our target audience.

Customer Care Rep (Vancouver, Canada)

We are looking for a customer care rep who has a genuine love for cats and a strong desire to ensure a memorable customer experience. Your job scope will reach from resolving product or service issues to effectively handling customer inquiries related to our brand.

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and chat.
  • 2. Provide information about our products and services, including answering questions about usage, troubleshooting, and managing returns or replacements.
  • 3. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
  • 4. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency.
  • 5. Identify and communicate any new trends or unexpected issues with manager.


Requirements:

  • 1. Experience working directly with customers in any environmnet (1-2 years) preferable (retail, restaurant, stores)
  • 2. Thick skin - this job will require interacting with frustrated customers on a daily basis.
  • 3. Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • 4. Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • 5. Familiarity with CRM systems is a bonus (shopify, helpscout, asana)
