  • What are Cove's measurements?

    When assembled, the Cove has the following dimensions: 16”W x 26”D x 6.5”H (plus 8” height if you use the Shelter high walls)

  • Are the high walls Included?

    Yes - both Cove and Cubby include the Shelter, a removable add-on wall accessory, which adds an 8” partition around the litter box to keep litter and waste contained.

  • How do I clean it?

    Our litter boxes are made of anti-stick plastic, which makes cleaning a breeze and keeps it tidy day-to-day. For best results, we suggest doing a monthly deep clean by emptying the litter box and wiping it down with warm water and a gentle cleaner, like unscented dish soap. However, if there are old or stubborn urine stains after years of use, an enzyme cleaner may be needed to break them down.

  • What is the difference between the Cubby and the Cove?

    After listening to your feedback, we wanted to create a simpler version of our best-selling litter box, without all of the bells and whistles that not all cat parents want. The result is a simple, minimal iteration of our best-seller, but with the same tuft + paw approach to high-quality materials and durability.

    The litter area is the exact same but the Cove comes with a built-in storage caddy for the scoop and dustpan. With the semi-transparent shelter removed, the Cove's overall footprint is 16” W x 26” D x 6.5” H compared to Cubby's 15.2" W x 21.2" L x 6" H. The Cubby is also lighter with the base tub coming in at 2.6 lbs. The Cove is a more premium tub at 7.3 lbs (when the tool caddy insert & tools are removed) with a rigid double-walled design and textured, recessed base for easy lifting

  • How can I get my cat to use a new litter box?

    Getting cats to use a new litter box can take a little bit of patience, but here are some tips that might help:

    1. Put the new litter box in the same place as the old one, so your cat doesn't get confused.
    2. Make sure the box is easily accessible and has a clear view of the room.
    3. Use the same type of litter and add some of your cat's soiled litter to the new box, so they recognize the scent.
    4. Keep the box clean by scooping out soiled litter daily.
    5. If your cat is hesitant to use the new box, try rubbing or spraying catnip along the edge to entice them.
    6. Consider removing the Shelter wall if your cat seems uncomfortable, but put it back if they prefer it.
    7. Praise and reward your cat when they use the new box correctly, using verbal praise and treats.
    8. And remember, be patient!
  • Does Cove require a specific kind of litter?

    Nope! We know how fussy cats can be when it comes to how they do their business. Cove allows even the fussiest of cats to feel right at home by using their favorite litter.

  • Can I use litter liners with Cove?

    Most Cove customers find that a liner is not necessary.

    Best Looking Litter Box, Some Design Flaws

    I do love the overall design of this litter box. I have 3 for my 3 cats which was definitely an investment considering the price. 1 box is a few months old and the dustpan is a slightly different shape that works so well! The newer 2 cove boxes I just bought have a different dustpan design that doesn't pick up much when you try to sweep. Why change a design that worked in the past? 5 stars for the box design and aesthetic, 1 star for the two new faulty design dustpans. Another criticism is the handle rubber gets easily dusty because it is quite grippy. Wish it was slightly more smooth and less of a dust magnet. For a high price point item, I wish I could say everything with the cove litter box is perfect, but it just falls a little short. Used to have modkat, switched over to this for the more streamlined design and integration in my space. Cats love it. Averaging the pros (aesthetic, cat ease of use) and cons (new dustpan design is useless, super expensive, rubber handle is a dust magnet), I give it 3 stars. Still no better designed alternatives so for that reason I will continue buying from Tuft + Paw but I hope they remedy some of these cons!

    Cover litter box

    I've had my new 7 month old kitty, Enzo, and my new tuft and paw cove litterbox for 2 weeks and I love it!

    It's modern looking and the high side are perfect. It has the built in holder for the scoop and brush which are included in the purchase.

    My cat loves it too! Highly recommend

    I've tried so many different litters, only to wake up to a little present pile every morning on my dining room floor, lucky it's hardwood💩.. I'm going on three weeks.. not one pile! No tracking, and haven't noticed any order when first coming into the house.. and the litter box is sleek, and convenient with the scoop and mini brush/dustpan right there to use.. the litter clumps great, so cleaning out the litter box is so easy!     Love it

    After trying the cove litter box for a few months, I bought two more for our multi storied house. It contains urine spray well and in conjunction with your litter, there is very little tracking. I like the looks and design and would recommend it to anyone living with cats!

    Great product!

    I am a veterinarian and I have a blind office cat. She is very particular about her litter and her litter box. After getting the Cove box she immediately went to it and refused to use the other boxes. We have bought two more and she is happy. The litter disintegrates right away and we’ve had no problems with clumping or flushing. It’s an awesome product.
