    Sure does!

  • Can the Cove Litter Box be used with the Haven?

    The Cove Litter Box is designed to be used as a standalone litter box and cannot be placed inside the Haven. However, Haven comes with a complementary litter box, as well as a scoop, brush, and dustpan.

  • What size litter box will fit inside the Haven?

    Haven does come with a complimentary litter box pan that’s a perfect fit, but if you’d like to use your own we’d recommend that it’s no bigger than 17”W, 21”L, 10.15”.

  • Does Haven come with a scoop or brush?

    Yes, the Haven comes with a complimentary scoop, brush and dustpan.

  • Is there a protective coating on the Haven?

    To help keep Haven in great condition, it's important to wipe up spills or accidents as soon as possible. While there isn't a protective layer beyond normal wood finishes, with a little care and attention, Haven will remain beautiful and durable for years to come!

  • Can I paint or re-stain Haven?

    If you wish, yes. All of our wood products are sealed in order to ensure their longevity, but if you wish to sand and paint or re-stain yours to better suit your homes aesthetic, go right ahead!

  • What’s the difference between Haven and Rifiuti?

    Unlike the Rifiuti, Haven has a knob mechanism that requires twisting to enable the door to open. Its built-in piston gently lowers the door to the ground for easier cleaning access and to prevent any loud slamming. This protects your floors and is a calmer experience for your cat. We’ve also designed with Haven with a Scandinavian Modern look, whereas the Rifiuti takes inspiration from Midcentury Modern design, so you can decide what best suits your home’s aesthetic.

  • How do I clean the Haven?

    You can easily clean Haven by wiping it down with a soft damp cloth.

  • How can I get my cat to use a new litter box?

    Getting cats to use a new litter box can take a little bit of patience, but here are some tips that might help:

    1. Put the new litter box in the same place as the old one, so your cat doesn't get confused.
    2. Make sure the box is easily accessible and has a clear view of the room.
    3. Use the same type of litter and add some of your cat's soiled litter to the new box, so they recognize the scent.
    4. Keep the box clean by scooping out soiled litter daily.
    5. If your cat is hesitant to use the new box, try rubbing or spraying catnip along the edge to entice them.
    6. Consider removing the Shelter wall if your cat seems uncomfortable, but put it back if they prefer it.
    7. Praise and reward your cat when they use the new box correctly, using verbal praise and treats.
    8. And remember, be patient!

    Disappointed - Not the Quality I Expected

    I was really looking forward to this litter box enclosure, especially given the $699 price tag and my past positive experiences with Tuft + Paw. Unfortunately, this piece fell far short of expectations. The wood arrived warped, which made assembly frustrating and left the final structure misaligned. For the cost, I expected craftsmanship and durability — but what I received felt more like something from IKEA or Amazon, just at triple the price.

    I’ve purchased other items from Tuft + Paw that were beautifully made, so this was a surprising and disappointing letdown. It simply doesn’t match the premium positioning of the brand. I hope this was a one-off, but I won’t be ordering furniture from them again without more reassurance on quality. I am still awaiting a response from customer service.

    Looks great but questionable assembly at best

    My review will be similar to others - I appreciate the overall look and design of the Litterbox enclosure, but the assembly was as complicated as others have noted. For the cost, it should really come at least partially assembled

    Other cons: the metal part (white) of the facade was warped upon arrival and difficult to screw in. You must assemble with a 2nd person

    The screws come in little baggies, that are not really labeled, so you need to really pay attention

    The packaging was so complicated we didn’t feel like calling them about the warped to return it, but it’s frustrating that it is not aligned as it was in the pictures

    Pros:

    Once it all came together, it looks great and our cat uses it and (I think) loves the privacy

    The Litterbox, scoop, and sweeper/dustpan set that come with it are nice quality and work well

    Wish I read the reviews

    There’s missing pieces.. literally the door piece is missing pieces so I can’t put it on.. I’m really upset at myself for spending so much money. The quality really isn’t great :( it would look nice if I could assemble it.

    Good option for guest facing litter box

    This version of the Haven improved on a lot of my complaints of the original design - less moving parts that can break over time, easier to clean out the bottom, a locking mechanism for the main door, and an option for a smaller box that they offer (Cubby) that fits within it. Looks great, probably want to use a low dust tracking litter if possible. I have a mat out in front of the entrance to catch additional litter spills, but it’s relatively small and the walkway does the heavy lifting.

    One complaint, I had to sand down the area where the door and bottom panel meet, as the clearance was a little tight and made a loud sound when closing - a pretty easy fix all things considered

    For a $700 piece of furniture, the quality is not the best. The provided hardware is poor quality. As other reviewers mentioned one of the main metal parts of the enclosure was slightly bent, which made it hard to align most of the screws with the pilot holes from them, and ultimately one of the provided acrews broke from the tension leaving me with a misaligned enclosure. I brought this up to cuatomer service and so far they have not replied about it. Ultimately this is a nice enclosure. A bit overpriced but it does it job well, if you’re a lucky one and all parts are in perfect condition.
