The reason we ask for subscription is because it makes it much easier for us to forecast demand, which allows us to guarantee no stockouts for subscribers. But you can easily pause immediately after placing an order

A small amount of liquid will cause it to harden slightly, but submerged in water it completely breaks down

The safety of your kitty and the environment is always our top priority! According to the CDC, cats kept indoors that do not hunt prey, and are not fed raw meat are not likely to be infected with Toxoplasmosis. We’d recommend that you only flush feces of indoor cats, in municipalities which allow it. 

We have lots of septic customers, it dissolves in water so it is totally safe so long as you flush in small amounts

Unfortunately the pellets don't work with most automatic litter boxes but you can double check with the manufacturer.

Generally, one bag will last for one month with one cat. Keep in mind other factors may influence your usage such as the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often your cat(s) use it.

Really Great Cat Litter is unscented and does not contain any perfumes. The ingredients in the litter have a slight natural aroma - some have described it as uncooked oats, rice or bread.

Our litter is made primarily of soybean fiber which is a byproduct of the soy industry. When soybeans are processed into food products like tofu and soya milk, the fibrous material is filtered out and would otherwise go to the landfill. Instead, we’re able to repurpose this into absorbent cat litter. Since it’s made of natural materials it can be disposed of by flushing or composting, if your local regulations allow.

Oh yeah, really! Small clumps of this litter can be flushed in a well-maintained septic system. Use your scoop to break up larger clumps as needed, with each one being no bigger than a billiard ball. Before flushing, just make sure to check with your local and state regulations.

When unopened, Really Great Litter lasts 24 months from its production date, as indicated on the bag. Once opened, the bag should be used as soon as possible to benefit from peak performance. Store sealed in a dry, cool, and ventilated space.
