I love the low tracking and not dust! I don’t love that it does not control smell. I never really noticed my cat’s poop before but now it seems very pungent. Where the urine doesn’t seem to smell at all?! I am planning on getting a plug in air freshener to see if it helps and just scoop daily!

I love everything about this litter! Tinsel is 7 months old and I guess she is just messy in the bathroom because she still manages to get quite a bit of litter out of the box. At least this litter is easier to sweep up and there is no dust!

This litter is realy great. I have a Siamese and an oriental and they are obsessive about having the right texture on their precious paws. They took to this new litter very quickly. Only down fall is that I saw an add for tofu litter at half the price and a much larger bucket. Not sure if it's the same quality but in these unprecedented economic tribulations, every penny counts. Just saying..

We completely understand that price is an important consideration. Because our litter's lightweight (58% lighter than clay) weight alone isn’t a reliable way to compare cost. Each 9.25 lb bag lasts about a month for one cat, and subscriptions bring the price down to $18 with free shipping.

I’m hoping my cats will learn to bury their 💩!!! Currently they switched over to the new litter fine BUT it smells awful!!! So much worse than regular litter so far. They are refusing to bury. Will update my review after a few more weeks.

FAQs
How long does one bag last?
Generally, one bag will last for one month with one cat. Keep in mind other factors may influence your usage such as the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often your cat(s) use it.
What are the ingredients?
In true tuft + paw fashion, we put your cat first. Our formula is simple with five safe ingredients: Soybean Fiber, Corn Starch, Corn Flour, Guar Gum, Charcoal.
If it clumps, then how is it also flushable?
A small amount of liquid will cause it to harden slightly, but submerged in water it completely breaks down
Is it septic safe?
We have lots of septic customers, it works fine so long as you flush in small amounts at a time, it completely breaks down in water.
My plumber said never to flush anything
It disintegrates completely in water so it's fine unlike other "flushable" products that are just marketed like that.
I thought that you weren’t supposed to flush cat waste because of Toxoplasmosis?

Does this work with self-cleaning litter boxes?
Unfortunately the pellets don't work with most auto litter boxes

Does Really Great Cat Litter expire?
When unopened, Really Great Litter lasts 24 months from its production date, as indicated on the bag. Once opened, the bag should be used as soon as possible to benefit from peak performance. Store sealed in a dry, cool, and ventilated space.
