The new odor stop litter is great! The smell is good, it does its job, and the cats never had an issue getting used to it. I’ve been using Tuft and Paw for over 2 years. My only complaint is that urine clumps that get stuck to the litter box wall or bottom are extremely sticky. I must use Clorox wipes (non toxic type of course) to clean the box and scooper. And since I have one boy that pees on the back wall every time, it’s a lot of extra cleaning. The Odor Stop type is superior in my opinion to the original. Minus the not being flushable. Try and make it flushable??

Scooping too early or too forcefully can cause the clumps to break apart, so it’s best to let them sit for a short time first to firm up before scooping.

No more smelly trash can in bathroom and carrying waste to the street. Practically no dust means cleaner home and I’m not stepping on cat litter through out the house that my Maine Coons would track everywhere. To transition, I added some “Really Great Cat Litter” to their existing box. When they accepted the litter, I threw out the existing litter and added 2 bags of Really Great to their large litter box. Love, love, love! Love that I can flush too! Never going back!!!

The litter is great if your cat doesn’t pee like a racehorse. My poor baby just turned 18 years old and to look at him, you’d never guess. He’s been an indoor cat since around 6-7 months old, when I rescued him. Your littler is great if your pet pees normally.

FAQs
How long does one bag last?
Generally, one bag will last for one month with one cat. Keep in mind other factors may influence your usage such as the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often your cat(s) use it.
What are the ingredients?
In true tuft + paw fashion, we put your cat first. Our formula is simple with five safe ingredients: Soybean Fiber, Corn Starch, Corn Flour, Guar Gum, Charcoal.
If it clumps, then how is it also flushable?
A small amount of liquid will cause it to harden slightly, but submerged in water it completely breaks down
Is it septic safe?
We have lots of septic customers, it works fine so long as you flush in small amounts at a time, it completely breaks down in water.
My plumber said never to flush anything
It disintegrates completely in water so it's fine unlike other "flushable" products that are just marketed like that.
I thought that you weren’t supposed to flush cat waste because of Toxoplasmosis?
Toxoplasmosis is incredibly rare for indoor cats as it's obtained by eating infected rodents or birds: https://www.tuftandpaw.com/blogs/cat-guides/toxoplasmosis-in-cats-everything-you-need-to-know But still a good idea for folks to check with their local municipalities to confirm restrictions.
Does this work with self-cleaning litter boxes?
Unfortunately the pellets don't work with most auto litter boxes

Does Really Great Cat Litter expire?
When unopened, Really Great Litter lasts 24 months from its production date, as indicated on the bag. Once opened, the bag should be used as soon as possible to benefit from peak performance. Store sealed in a dry, cool, and ventilated space.
