How long does one bag last?
One bag lasts about a month for one cat—with plenty of households getting up to 40 days out of it. Actual usage varies based on box size, fill depth, and how your cat approaches the whole experience. Some are minimalists. Others are not. We designed for both.
If it clumps, how is it also flushable?
Our Unscented and Lavender have been third-party tested for flushability, even when clumped. It's all about the amount of liquid. A small amount causes it to clump; fully submerged in water, it breaks down completely. Think of it less like clay (which hardens forever) and more like a sponge—firm when it needs to be, gone when you need it to be.
Is it septic safe?
Yes, our Unscented and Lavender formulas can be flushed in small amounts at a time. We have plenty of septic customers who use it without issue. If in doubt, your local municipality is always worth a quick check. We do not recommend flushing our OdorStop formula, as it contains bentonite which does not break down as easily.

For the price of this litter, I expected much better performance. The odor control is practically nonexistent. In fact, I’ve found that the smell is significantly worse than with traditional cat litter. Even when I scoop the litter box every single day, it still stinks!
Another major frustration is how difficult and time-consuming it is to scoop. Because of the shape of the litter, I have to constantly shake and sift the scoop just to separate the clean litter from the waste. What should be a quick, simple task takes forever unless I want to throw away a bunch of perfectly good litter.
I really wanted to like this product, especially considering its premium price, but I’m extremely disappointed. Between the poor odor control and the hassle of scooping, I genuinely feel that traditional litter performs better at a fraction of the cost.

I have always used the lavender (which I love)! .... But I have 2 cats, so I am going to see how the OdorStop does. I wish it was also flushable, but I'm looking forward to trying it! Do you guys put it into a bag and tie it shut before putting it in the trashcan? I know it's going to be great though! Can't wait to get it in the mail! Really wanted this to be the “magic” litter of our dreams! Cats transitioned without issue. But odor control and tracking were no match for our gingers. Thoroughly cleaning the litter proved difficult. Urine clumped- but all “poo pieces” did not, which unfortunately, meant removing more litter.
