I was using a less expensive litter that tracked a bit but the odor control was phenomenal. Unfortunately, my new automatic litter box couldn’t handle the weight and I was advised to try tofu litter. It works well with the litter box, but it smells SO AWFUL and I find little white pellets everywhere. Not worth the price.

Fresh urine naturally releases ammonia before the litter has a chance to absorb it, so that initial smell usually fades pretty quickly once the litter clumps. Odor performance can also vary based on things like diet, individual cat habits, and how often the box is scooped.

I started using this litter with my 13 month old kitten. I was absolutely shocked how easy it is to scoop or clean her box. No tracking anywhere. I will keep buying this litter as long as I have my kitten. I would recommend anyone who has a cat or cats please buy this amazing litter.

Your litter does track less than the sandy stuff but it’s not track free. I will continue with it for now

We totally get it, a few stray pellets can escape, but it’s much easier to sweep up compared to fine, dusty litter. Have you tried using a high-sided litter box? It might help reduce tracking even further!
