After listening to your feedback, we wanted to create a simpler version of our best-selling litter box, without all of the bells and whistles that not all cat parents want. The result is a simple, minimal iteration of our best-seller, but with the same tuft + paw approach to high-quality materials and durability.

The litter area is the exact same but the Cove comes with a built-in storage caddy for the scoop and dustpan. With the semi-transparent shelter removed, the Cove's overall footprint is 16” W x 26” D x 6.5” H compared to Cubby's 15.2" W x 21.2" L x 6" H. The Cubby is also lighter with the base tub coming in at 2.6 lbs. The Cove is a more premium tub at 7.3 lbs (when the tool caddy insert & tools are removed) with a rigid double-walled design and textured, recessed base for easy lifting

Our litter boxes are made of anti-stick plastic, which makes cleaning a breeze and keeps it tidy day-to-day. For best results, we suggest doing a monthly deep clean by emptying the litter box and wiping it down with warm water and a gentle cleaner, like unscented dish soap. However, if there are old or stubborn urine stains after years of use, an enzyme cleaner may be needed to break them down.

Getting cats to use a new litter box can take a little bit of patience, but here are some tips that might help:

1. Put the new litter box in the same place as the old one, so your cat doesn't get confused.
2. Make sure the box is easily accessible and has a clear view of the room.
3. Use the same type of litter and add some of your cat's soiled litter to the new box, so they recognize the scent.
4. Keep the box clean by scooping out soiled litter daily.
5. If your cat is hesitant to use the new box, try rubbing or spraying catnip along the edge to entice them.
6. Consider removing the Shelter wall if your cat seems uncomfortable, but put it back if they prefer it.
7. Praise and reward your cat when they use the new box correctly, using verbal praise and treats.
