Three cats and one human review.
Sorry T&P crew….getting three cats to review one food is, well, cat herding. But after a few weeks, we have succeeded. Our thoroughly grueling but not scientific review resulted in 4.5 stars. We gave you 5 because…well, we like you. On to the cat by cat review. We have 3 eating styles. 1, licking. 2, lapping. 3, whomping. These distinctions are important. Let’s start with Simon the whomper. Simon, the black cat, was rescued from a house as a kitten (under a year) with 5 starving adult dogs. Their people left them. The result that matters here is that Simon eats like a starving dog. Big chonks of food. RGCF was an immediate 5 star experience for Simon. While there is moisture, it’s more of a pate so very whompable. He loves the rabbit - chicken mix. All good. Now to lapping. That’s the approach of 13 year old Luna aka “the Queen”. Luna also has your bowl with the stand which she is very happy about in general. She too found the RGCF to be excellent…palatable, moist but not runny. She gave you, however, a 4.5 but…that’s more about the bowl. She can’t help it…lapping sometimes pushes food right over the edge of the lip and onto the table…where it “cannot” be eaten. She feels a series of subtle concentric speed bumps in the bowl might help lappers like her better enjoy the whole T&P eating experience. I’ve tried to explain…but she’s the Queen…feel me? Now, Max. Here’s your problem. Max initially rejected your food. He felt the addition of rabbit was…just wrong. He didn’t know the…
