My cat took to this post right away and now uses it multiple times a day. The sturdy base keeps the post in place and the overall construction is durable. We removed the rubber levelers (they continuously fell out) and placed the post on a jute rug. This is the most stylish and durable scratching post I've seen!

Our cat has been incredibly picky about scratchposts - she doesn’t like the sisal rope that most use, and I has been very difficult to find an attractive carpet post. The Zip is both attractive and she loves it - the material is like a very stiff carpet - almost a hybrid between sisal and carpet, and she loves to dig her nails into it. It’s also sturdy enough that our little big chonk doesn’t knock it over when she does a big stretch or jumps on top for treats.
