On average, one bag lasts about a month for one cat, with many households getting up to 40 days of use. Actual usage can vary depending on your cat’s habits, the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often it’s used. Some cats are light users, some are… not. We plan for both.

Most self-cleaning litter boxes are designed for fine, clay-style litters and haven’t quite caught up to natural, pellet-based litters like tofu. When unopened, Really Great Cat Litter is best used within 24 months of its production date (printed on the bag).
