My cat seems to go in heat every other day . Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. She will be in heat on-going for about a week, and sometimes up to 10 days. This cycle will then repeat every 14 to 22 days. Some days she will be more vocal and unsettled then other days during this time.
Just out of curiosity, why does it cost more to have a female cat fixed if they are in heat?
