Cove Litter Box has reviews
As soon as I got this out of the box, my kitten Charlie jumped right in! He has slept in it every night since. It’s the perfect size to put on my bed so that he sleeps in it (instead of on my legs or chest.) My 4 yr old kitty is not a fan of it, but that’s okay since the kitten has claimed it.
I really like the look of this box, and the non stock surface. Unfortunately, the space for kitty to enter through the protective wall cover is too large for my cat and poorly positioned for her. My cat likes to *** against the corners, and so she ends up peeing over the side of the open, corner, making a mess. I created a DIY solution by raising the wall of the corners with some duct tape and cardboard, but it eventually falls over or fails. Have to get ride of this now after spending so much $$ on it and trying to make it work for months. My suggestion: make a box with an entrance on the length wide sides, where cats don’t like to ***.
Thanks for the feedback Katie. Our support team has been in touch and we'd love to connect you to our Cat Behaviorist who can potentially provide you with some tips for this issue. We'd also recommend flipping the Shelter in the other direction, to see if your cat will continue going in the same corner that would then be covered with the wall.
We just moved from a 4000 sf house to a 1500 sf apartment; needless to say, we needed a new kitty litter box that was more attractive and easier to maintain. I really love this litter box; not having to rely on liners makes it so much easier to manage, and the unit itself is very sleek and modern looking. My two cats still manage to scatter litter outside of the unit even with the wrap around barrier which is why I gave it four stars, but still, it is the nicest litter box we've ever experienced.
I have two cats (13 and 14 lbs), and one of them likes to fling the litter all around the room after she "does her business." This box did the trick! Now I only have to deal with a small amount of litter where the opening is, and the little dust pan and broom are very handy for those small, quick, cleanups. My two cats were rescues from the street, and I was afraid they wouldn't like the high sides of the box, but they took to it right away. The litter box is large enough for them; it is very sturdy and looks nice, too. I'm glad I took a chance and bought two.
Yes, it’s a little pricey, but you’re considering it, right? But I needed to place a box in my living room, because one of my 4 cats keeps pooping in a corner behind an armchair. I considered getting my first ever automatic litter box, but they all seem either unreliable or ridiculously large. I wanted something that was discreet and attractive. This thing is beautiful, so I’m thinking of pulling it out from behind the chair so it’s easier to reach for cleaning. As others have mentioned, it scoops like a dream, because of the shape and material. And my cats seem to love it, as it is currently the most used litter box in the house! Buy it. It’s worth the money.
